1. Holiday Spending Intentions Perk Up in November.

American's are going to be spending a lot of money this holiday season. This is because the people have a lot more economic confidence this year. Public opinion on this issue will most likely change if there is another enconomic downturn. This current opinion has changed from past years and months. What caused this change is fluctuation of the economy. This proves that the public is fickle.

2. Low Approval of Congress

America just does not like what Congress is doing. With a 13% approval rating of Congress, one can see that people of every party association are against Congress. This is because the people don't think that the politicians in Congress are very honest or trustworthy. Even Congress members complained about low honesty. People don't like the way the country is being run. I don't think that public opinion will change. The people expect so much of the Congress that it would be impossible to please everyone. The more responsibilities peopel place on Congress, the more they complain. The current public opinion has stayed fairly consistent over the past few months. This has stayed consistent ever since Republicans took control of Congress. The public really isnt too fickle when it comes to matters of Congress because most of the time the public doesn't highly approve of Congress.

3. Jobs and Economy Remain the Top Concerns of Americans

Americans view the economic issues that America has encountered as frightening. They are very concerned about the current state of the jobs in America. They are concerned because the recent economic downturn put a lot of people out of work. When a lot of people are out of work, that means that the economy will go down. Public opinion will change eventually when the country is back on track economically and more people have jobs. The current public opinion about the economy has stayed consistent ever since the recession but before the recession public opinion was very high considering the economy. So in that sense, public opinion has changed a lot. The cause of this change is the dramatic change in the economy. You can say that the public os fickle about this subject but the public really has a right to be.

4. 3 Quarters of Americans Approve of Obama Withdrawing Troops from Iraq at the End of the Month

Its no surprise that many Americans are still not in favor of the war in Iraq. People have disliked the war ever since it started. Public opinion about the war in Iraq is low because most people think it was a war that we should have never gotten into in the first place. Public opinion will stay high concerning the Obama pull out plan. The current public opinion about pullingg troops out of Iraq has most likely changed a little bit but definitely not a lot. The cause of this change is the fact that most people are now very concerned about jobs and the economy. This is an indicator that the public is fickle about this topic.

5. Americas Trust Small Business Owners More than They Trust Obama

Americans now trust the advice of small business owners about how to create jobs more than they trust Obama and economists. People trust small businesses more because they feel there is less corruption in the world of small business and local governments. People do not trust big business. Public opinion will most likely not change when it comes to trusting small business over big business and economists and Obama. The people have seen and learned that there is too much greed and corruption surrounding that realm of the world. This shows a little change because people already trusted small business more than they trusted the rich. The little change was caused when the big businesses started shipping jobs over seas and stopped giving people the chance to have a somewhat guaranteed job.  This shows that the public is a little fickle but they deserve to be.

I find it interesting a poll you found said Holiday spending will increase. A poll i found said that they think our economic condition is getting progressively worse.

I did the same poll on holiday spending. I also agree how American are fickle on spending due to how the economic is going.

I find it interesting that Americans trust small business owners more than Obama. Small business owners can be just as corrupted and twisted as big corporate businesses.

I agree particulary with your second poll. People place more responsibilities on Congress, but yet get upset when not everyone is pleased, when in reality it is impossible to please everyone.

Jobs and the economy should most definitely remain at the top of America's concerns. I mean c'mon...

The poll concerning jobs and the economy and the relationship of it with Americans is spot on. People are starting to feel the effects of the economy and should start learning how to get involved in the ongoings of current events that may or may not affect them.
