Read the United States Constitution, Bill of Rights, and The Declaration of Independence.  The first two documents are available online at www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/constitution.billofrights.html.

In a well-constructed, five-paragraph essay, (use Microsoft Word, Times New Roman 12 point font) respond to the following prompt:

 

Explain natural law as the philosophical foundation of the United States Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence.  Please comment on the nature of humans, the purpose of government, the role of the individual, and civil rights.
