As announced in class, these assignments are due on December 6:

1. Do the Alabama Literacy Test.   Answer honestly and record your answers on a separate sheet of paper (loose leaf, notebook, work page).  Then compare your answers to the key.

2.  Read Wilson Chapter 9.

3.  Read Lanahan 73, 74, 75.  Respond to any two on your student work page.

4.  On your student work page, defend why you are a Republican, Democrat, Green, Libertarian, etc....  Begin with this sentence "I am a ..." and fill in the blank.  For this exercise, it is preferable that you select a political party.  Remember, only Democrats and Republicans vote in the primaries in Pennsylvania.  So if you live in this state, and are unaffiliated, you can only vote once.  That's the danger of a closed primary like PA.  This should be contemplative where you really think about your answer in a philosophical manner.  Good luck.
